Scholarship Program

  • A.C. McCartney is pleased to announce that we are offering three ( $1,000 ) scholarships for graduating high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree in a field of agriculture. This scholarship is based on scholastic achievement, leadership in agriculture, and the perceived ability to contribute to the Ag community in the future scholarship


    Scholarship Rules: 


    1.  Applicants must be an area FFA chapter member and be active for a minimum of 1 year. 
    2.  Applicants must be interested in the agricultural business and be an Illinois resident or lowa resident. 
    3.  Applicants must show excellence in chapter participation, academics, and community involvement. 
    4.  Scholarships will be awarded for the current school year and the funds may be used for school fees, books, equipment, and room & board. 
    5.  The scholarship money will be awarded by check to the recipient upon registration and after 3 weeks of attendance of classes. 
    6.  To apply for a scholarship:
                      .  Fill out and submit the attached application by May 1st, 2024.
                      .  Submit a copy of your current high school transcript. 
                      .  Provide 3 letters of recommendation (example, former teacher, counselor, neighbor or employer)
    7.  Recipient will be notified of the scholarship award during the month of May each year. 
    8.  Selection of scholarship recipients shall be made each year by the ACM Board Members.

  • A.C. McCartney is pleased to announce that we are offering one Diesel Technology Scholarship per year. 

    This program is available to a candidate who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited Diesel Powered Equipment program.  Students will have peace of mind knowing that they will have a full-time job waiting for them when they graduate. ACM offers students up to $15,000 tuition pay-back program and $5,000 tool allowance. 
     

    Scholarship Rules: 


    1.  Applicants must be interested in the agricultural business and be an Illinois resident or lowa resident. 
    2.  Applicants must maintain a 2.5/4.0 cumulative GPA
    3.  Upon graduation, the student agrees to work full-time at ACM for a continuous period of 3 years. 
    4.  If the student does not remain employed full-time for 3 years, then the student will reimburse ACM. 
    5.  To apply for a scholarship:
                      .  Fill out and submit the attached application by May 1st, 2024.
                      .  Submit a copy of your current high school transcript or current college transcript. 
                      .  Provide 3 letters of recommendation (example, former teacher, counselor, neighbor or employer)
    6.  Selection of award candidate shall be made each year by the ACM Board Members. 
    7.  Recipient will be notified of the scholarship award by an ACM representative by May 30th, 2024.
